We have Sing & Speak and Sing & Speak + Read Class. The core learning principles are the same, with an addition to reading in the + Read.

Sing & Speak

For children 3-8

Very little or basic understanding of Cantonese 

​

This class focuses on developing listening, vocabulary, and spoken Cantonese through songs, games, and conversation. It is ideal for children who understand some basic Cantonese but would benefit from expanding their vocabulary and speaking with greater confidence.

Complete beginners are also welcome. As instructions are given mainly in Cantonese, a parent or caregiver is asked to join the class to provide support when needed.

Sing & Speak + Read

For children 3-8

Basic understanding of Cantonese

This class follows the same engaging song-based approach while introducing Chinese character recognition and early reading.

​

Children continue to build their speaking confidence while learning to recognise commonly used Chinese characters through songs and interactive activities. Follow-up online games are provided to reinforce learning at home.

Children joining this class should already have a basic understanding of Cantonese (for example, familiar topics such as colours, animals, and everyday vocabulary). No prior knowledge of reading Chinese characters is required.​​​​

Sing & Speak + Read Plus

For children 5+

For children who can hold conversations in Cantonese and recognise approximately 50–100 words.

Designed for children with a broader Cantonese vocabulary, this class builds on the foundations of Sing & Speak + Read by introducing more challenging language and reading activities.

Children will continue to expand their vocabulary, develop longer and more natural conversations, strengthen their Chinese character recognition and reading skills, and practise expressing their own ideas with greater confidence through songs, games, discussions, and interactive language activities.
